Thanks for stopping by the blog site of the new podcast about CBH Ministries's radio drama, Down Gilead Lane. The first episode of The Slow Walk Down Gilead Lane: Daniel and Daniel Discuss Every Episode of DGL will be available in the first week of January. Each week this podcast will bring you reviews, fan contributions, and the behind-the-scenes scoop on your favorite DGL shows, starting from the beginning of the series. Our discussion of the episodes will coincide with the re-airing of the episodes on the weekly DGL broadcast available here.

  1. Hi Dave and Daniel!
I'm so excited to hear this new podcast! I started listening to DGL aroung season 8 so I get to hear the older episodes for the first time AND get reviews and inside scoops for them. I'm looking forward to it!

(I am a diffrent Brenden than the one who has been mentioned. That's why I'll refer to myself as Brenden M)

  2. Hey Dave and Daniel,
What an excellent idea. I am really excited for your first podcast, and I will be sure to send you guys an mp3 of my review of Meet the Morrisons.

Just to formally introduce myself to you guys: I have been listening to Down Gilead Lane faithfully since the premier of Episode 1-9, however I do remember listening to Meet the Morrisons when that first premiered, but was at that point a die-hard Oddysey fan, and had trouble connecting with the Morrisons. (It took the scene with Grace "going nuts" in 1-9 to get me into the series) So I was about 7.

I did join the message boards breifly, during season 9, but had limited time to be on there. When they closed down, I felt called to start a new forum, so I started Coleraine Community.

And now, here we are. And as I said before: I cannot wait for the first fan made DGL podcast!

  4. Hey guys!
I'm so excited! I was planning on going through all of DGL myself, as I own all 12 cd sets, and I'm excited that I can go through with all the other DGL fans and have another DGL podcast to listen to! It will be fun to have some fresh voices, but also have the segment from Steve and Lori! Can't wait! :)

  6. Thank you so much for doing this. I love that the Gilead community is worlwide. I'm an American living in Sweden. I'm also WAY outside the target range as I am in my 40's. I started listening to DGL on Saturday morning christian radio during a difficult time in my life. I found the stories and themes relevant to both adults and the target audience. I'm excited about hearing the series from the beginning. I missed Seasons 8-10 as my local radio station (San Antonio where Lori lives ironically) stopped airing DGL and I didn't find it online until Season 11. I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing all episodes and specials in the proper order.
