Brains vs. Brawn

Three questions for you about this episode:
  • Is this one of your favorite early episodes?
  • Why do you think Mikey acts so differently than he does in "The Unlovables"?
  • Why is it more important to do your best rather than compare yourself to others?
Please try to submit your reviews by noon on Monday. :-)

Your Chance to Review "Overtime"

This weekend you have the opportunity to hear another classic DGL episode, 1-4 "Overtime." This episode has not been heard on the radio or web for over four years! After enjoying this episode, send us your thoughts. A few questions to help you out:
  • Do you think the relationship between Mr. Key and Timmy rings true?
  • What do you think of the character of Lauren Fisher?
  • How does the lesson of this episode apply to you in your life?  Do you think that if Mr. and Mrs. Fisher would have done things differently, Patrick wouldn't have acted in the way he did and not tempted Timmy into breaking in?
Review 1-4 "Overtime" and hear your review read or played on next week's podcast!

    The DGL Rewind Continues...

Jacob will be back this weekend to host the third DGL show "The Unlovables, 2." Listen to this classic episode and send us your reviews so we can read or play them on next week's podcast! Here's a few questions to get you thinking about this episode:
    • Do you think the acting is satisfactory in 1-3?
    • How do you think the side story of Justin trying out for the football team relates to the main story of Mike and Anna repaying Maya's meanness with love?
    • Matt notices that Michael and Anna act differently toward Maya than how he expected they would. How can we as Christians live more like Jesus and less like the world, so that our light shines before men in such a way that those who don't know God see our good works and glorify our Father who is in Heaven (Mt 5:16)?
Please get your reviews to us by noon on Monday so we can make sure that your thoughts are expressed on the podcast!

    Slow Walk DGL Episode #2!

WE'RE BACK!! Daniel and Dave discuss 1-2 "The Unlovables, 1," conveying fan opinion from New Zealand, Canada, Sweden, and the United States. Also, Steve O'Dell and Lori Twichell give never-before-heard information about 1-2. The hardest part to edit of this episode was the blooper reel! :)

Send Us Your Review of 1-1 "Meet the Morrisons"!

Well, it's almost time for the DGL rewind to begin! Listen to "Meet the Morrisons" online or on your local radio station this Saturday and tell us what you think. Early next week we'll be recording our thoughts about "Meet the Morrisons," and we'd like to include your review in our podcast! Here are some questions which you might like to consider:
    • Does "Meet the Morrisons" do a good job of introducing the Morrisons and Luke?
    • Which character do you like the most after hearing this episode?
    • Have you ever gone through a time in your life when you found it hard to deal with change, like the Morrisons experience in this episode?
And, if you want to write a short poem inspired by this episode (or inspired by anything else), send us that as well and save yourself from Dave's attempts at poetry. ;-) You can contact us at slowwalkdgl@gmail.com or leave a comment on this blog entry.
