The DGL Rewind Continues...

Jacob will be back this weekend to host the third DGL show "The Unlovables, 2." Listen to this classic episode and send us your reviews so we can read or play them on next week's podcast! Here's a few questions to get you thinking about this episode:
  • Do you think the acting is satisfactory in 1-3?
  • How do you think the side story of Justin trying out for the football team relates to the main story of Mike and Anna repaying Maya's meanness with love?
  • Matt notices that Michael and Anna act differently toward Maya than how he expected they would. How can we as Christians live more like Jesus and less like the world, so that our light shines before men in such a way that those who don't know God see our good works and glorify our Father who is in Heaven (Mt 5:16)?
Please get your reviews to us by noon on Monday so we can make sure that your thoughts are expressed on the podcast!

  1. I am not going to comment on the acting. I make it a rule to never criticize the actors of any audio drama I listen to. It's the treat others as you would want to be treated rule.
I always had trouble figuring out what Justin's trying out for the football team had to do with Mike and Anna's dealings with Maya. I came to a conclusion based on something that Justin said in the episode: He said that since he had started tryouts he had to finish them. I think perhaps he was trying to show Mike that as much as Mike wanted to stop being nice to Maya, he could not give up.
This episode (along with Part I) is one of my favorite episodes. 5/5
