  1. Hi,

Just wanted you to know that I gave The Slow Walk Down Gilead Lane a plug in my blog (http://collectingchildrensbooks.blogspot.com/2010/03/march-22-sunday-brunch.html) this past week.

Also, fans of the show might like to know that, after a long absence, there is a new Coleraine Connection Funcast posted at http://funcast.gileadlane.org/. This one even features an interview with Dave and Daniel.

Did I hear you guys say that the Thanksgiving episode, "To Grandmother's House We Go" is not one of your favorites? Oh no! I think that one is my very favorite stand-alone/holiday episode.

Speaking of holidays, here's a small correction: during this week's podcast you mentioned that Good Friday is a statutory holiday in both Canada and the U.S. Actually, here in the States, Good Friday is not a public holiday. Most stores and businesses remain open that day. There was a time -- maybe up through the early 1970s -- when many stores would close during the afternoon from noon to three p.m., but nowadays almost every place keeps their regular weekday hours on Good Friday.
